About the conference

II International Scientific and Practical Conference Homo Ludens: Game Studies and Game Narratives Studies

Date: May 27-28 📍Moscow, Russia

The Homo Ludens conference focuses on the games as a contemporary media phenomenon. It continues the academic dialogue about the current state of the game studies in Russia that began a year ago. The key issues of the previous conference not only remain pertinent but have also become increasingly significant in the context of international research. Therefore, it is crucial to carry on discussions about the development vectors of the video game research field. This year, we aim to broaden scientific borders via the inclusion of related themes and the invitation of foreign researchers to construct the multidisciplinary discussion.
