Nineteen HSE Students Visited Cologne School of Journalism

From November 15 to 23, 2014, 19 master’s students of the HSE Faculty of Communications, Media and Design School of Media, accompanied by lecturer Oxana Timofeeva, took part in an internship at the Cologne School of Journalism in Germany.

The programme of the visit included intensive English-taught classes on contemporary media communications as well as visits to German media and press.

The HSE students’ trip followed a visit of 20 students from theCologne School of Journalism to the HSE Faculty of Communications, Media and Design in summer 2014.

This series of one-week internships with the Cologne School of Journalism, which gives Russian students the opportunity to learn about the editorial offices and operations of leading German media, has been running since 2008.
