Time has always posed challenges for those who work in the media industry. Such a complex field has a great number of interrelated components – from social change to revolutionary advances in technology.
We suggest taking a look at social processes in a much broader way by studying journalism, media management, directing, editing, the stages of the creative process, and the production cycle of creating a media product – simply put, everything that can be called journalism, media, and communications.

It was a chance for the applicants to learn more about the content of educational programmes, career opportunities, and advantages of studies at the Media Institute.
Academic Director and Director of the Journalism Programme, Ivan Knyazev, started the meeting. Then the director of the Media Institute took the floor. Ernest Matskyavichyus immersed the future applicants in the field of journalism. He showed them online his workplace at the newsroom of “Vesti” Russian nationwide newscast during a live stream. Ernest Matskyavichyus also shared the secrets of what remains behind the scenes: he showed the prompter, the “faithful assistant” of the television presenter.
An important advantage of HSE is a flexible system of discounts depending on the academic performance of students. It allows students to achieve high results in their studies and encourages their active participation in the educational process. Students with high grades and success can expect various forms of support, including tuition discounts, scholarships, or the opportunity to participate in special programme activities.
After the main part of the event, students lined up in the lobby to learn more. Meetings with professors and students were held in an atmosphere of mutual interest and understanding. Students and their parents had the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the content of educational programmes, and communicate with future colleagues and experts in the media industry.
