On March 28, "Sirius" hosted the launch of the fourth season of the largest project for children and teenagers—the all-Russian contest "Bolshaya Peremena". Ernest Matskyavichyus, Director of the Media Institute, was awarded the First Prize in the category "For Contribution to the Development of the Movement of the Firsts".

The Media Institute team takes part in new "Sirius" Сentre educational programme on the Black Sea coast
Sirius Educational Center launched a new programme called "Literary Creativity. Journalism and the Media". For three weeks, students from all over Russia will get acquainted with the media field and learn how the country's top journalists work. The programme was prepared by the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and the social network VKontakte. The course was co-authored by specialists from the Media Institute. Within the framework of the intensive, they will hold thematic workshops in the educational modules "Media Leaders" and "The School of Contemporary Media".

Dear students and colleagues,We invite you to the lecture of David Kaye, Professor of Law at the University of California, Irvine, and UN Special Rapporteur on the Promotion and Protection of the Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression, held on 27 April at 19:00 at the School of Communications, Media and Design, HSE (Moscow). At the lecture, “fake news” will be considered in the context of the international human rights law.
