AGI Open is one of the leading international design conferences, which brings together prominent graphic designers from around the world. Founded in 1951 by Swiss and French designers, AGI’s mission is to promote graphic design through talks, publications and educational activities. AGI currently has 440 professional members from 38 countries.

This year AGI Open took place in Biel. Twenty-five world class designers presented their works and discussed how changes in the world have influenced graphic design. Igor Gurovitch also presented his work and took part in a live art performance; his posters were printed using an asphalt roller.

The conference organizers say that ‘his posters can be recognized by a radical visual style and experimentation, and are being commissioned by the largest cultural institutions and events’.
