13 Cartoon Posters Were Made by Students from the HSE Faculty of Design for the Big Cartoon Festival

The phenomenon of the cartoon poster is not very widespread in Russia. As a rule, a best-case scenario for the premiere of feature-length animated films is that posters are made from a frame of the movie; for 10-minute films, individual posters simply are not made. The organizers of the Big Cartoon Festival therefore turned for help to Igor Gurovitch, an artist and teacher at the HSE Faculty of Design. For all the years of the festival, Gurovitch has traditionally made branding posters for it.
